The daffodils are in full bloom, the lambs fill the fields, which means only one thing....it must be Easter. It's such a wonderful time of year to have a celebration, enjoying the brighter weather and the lighter evenings. These spring colours and vibes translate brilliantly into the themes used for Easter parties.
We have chosen to use pastel balloons and a homemade streamer backdrop to decorate this Easter table. The backdrop is such a great way to create a wow, but is so simple to make. We used pastel crepe streamers cut roughly to the same length. Arrange these in order and secure the top, using sticky tape so that they all hold together. You can then attach to a pole or frame and add balloons to cover any tape or gaps, and you are done!
As for the party table, Easter treats are always so beautifully wrapped - they are indeed decorations in themselves. Lindt Easter bunnies make beautiful ornaments as well as delicious chocolate treats. Other foods at the table include spring cupcakes, decorated with sugar carrots, sweet jars filled with marshmallows and chocolate bunnies, plus we couldn't resist a burst of rainbow colour with the gorgeous swirly candy lollipops. They are just so bright and cheerful, everyone will be reaching for one.
As for party favours, we filled cellophane cones with a variety of chocolate eggs and bunnies to take home, ready to lay their own Easter egg hunt. Finished off with pretty blue ribbon, these make an easy, thoughtful gift for your friends to enjoy.
